How does one locate a celebrity’s publicist?

Hello,

I am a freelance journalist in Tokyo. I would like to interview a few particular celebrities, and would thereby need to contact their publicists. However, I do not know how to go about locating them. I know there are several such directories on the internet, but they all charge for membership fees; being as my field of work is financially unstable, I am not able to register to these websites, and would prefer not to fill in any credit card information to gain access to free trials either.

That said, are there other ways in which I may locate celebrities’ publicists without paying any fees? Thank you in advance to whomever may help!

    Search the Association of Talent Agents website:

    If the celeb’s agent is an ATA member, they’ll be listed there.
