Without a work visa there is nothing you can do legally in Canada. You can try to find something online, but most of the “work at home” jobs are scams.
Well, according to you don’t need a work permit to work as a journalist as long as it’s for a foreign media so find a foreign newspaper that wants news from Canada. You also don’t need a work permit as a performer so if there is anything like that you can do, look into that.
Edit: Jim, why do you think he’s illegal? He could be here on a visa waiver as a tourist. So far he’s not working so if he’s on a visa waiver, he is not illegal and has not done anything illegal.

That CIC website is for those who are in Canada on a “Tempoary basis “. I don’ think that covers this person’s case, at all.
This person is an “illegal immigrant ” who admits as much in the question . Quote ” I don’t have a visa or anything like that ” .
My advice to the person who posed the question is simple…..Go home and apply properly, for a legal work permit.
